Bohemian Secret Photographs!

I am so lucky! Last week Sonia Macak from Bohemian Secret Photography on Skipton Street came to my Wednesday show at Muzyka with her son, Selwyn.

Sonia took some delightful photos of the show that she is letting me use for this blog and my Facebook page. Selwyn was ace, he took his time warming up but really listened to the whole show, genuinely interested in each of the songs. By the end of my set he was insisting that I come to his house for his birthday, and his mum agreed, booking me then and there to play his party next month.

They bought a CD too and apparently he’s been telling all his friends at kinder about “the cool guy who’s coming to my house”. Sonia is really proud of her son’s enthusiasm and I am just as proud to have such an awesome new fan! He danced up a storm and I’m sure the party will be a kick on.

Bohemian Secret specialize in baby, children’s and family photography and have an ol’ timey kind if vibe, so they’re a really good fit for my music. They use real film as well as digital and even the old fashioned Collodian (plate) photography method! I recommend popping in to check out their beautiful studio, just around the corner from Cafe Muzyka and next door to the Red Brick Gallery (in what has to be the grooved block outside of the city center).
